# Refunds

If Aloud is not right for you, write to me within 30 days of buying and you get your money back: the $29, or your subscription's first payment. No questions, no forms.

## How

- Email [kevxu@umich.edu](mailto:kevxu@umich.edu?subject=Aloud%20refund) from the address you used at checkout, or mention that address, so I can find the purchase.
- The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. Most banks show it within 5 to 10 business days.
- You do not need to explain, though you are always welcome to tell me what did not work.

## Subscriptions

- Cancel anytime at [link.com](https://app.link.com/), where Link keeps your subscription. Aloud stays unlocked until the end of the month you have paid for.
- A refund covers the first payment. Later months are not refunded for the part you did not use.
- Refunding the first payment also cancels the subscription.

## After 30 days

Write anyway if something has gone wrong. I would rather hear about it, and I will do what is fair.

None of this takes away any right you have under the consumer law where you live.
